Information about the Fix Your Bike Voucher Scheme
Condor Cycles is registered and will be participating in the Government's Fix your Bike Voucher Scheme.
The scheme aims to encourage more people in England to embrace cycling as an alternative to private cars and public transport, particularly while social distancing measures are in place. The scheme will be open to anyone who has an unused cycle in need of a repair. It will help them get it back on the road by providing £50 towards the cost of a service and repair for up to two cycles per household.
The scheme is not yet open to the public, and so the exact procedure is unknown at this point. Vouchers will need to be applied for and received in advance of visiting Condor for a repair. You can then use the voucher towards the total cost of the repair work.
Who is eligible and how can I apply?
Everyone in the UK will be able to apply for the scheme, but there are only 500,000 vouchers available. The government has announced that bike owners can apply online from Tuesday 28 July at 23.45, vouchers provided on a first come first serve basis, and released in daily batches of 50,000.
