What happens if I am not available when my order arrives?
UK customers
The following services do not require a signature:
- Royal Mail 24
- Royal Mail 48
- Royal Mail Tracked 24
- Royal Mail Tracked 48
So long as the package can fit through your letterbox or be left with someone else — for example, a neighbour or reception — your package should still be delivered.
The following services will require a signature:
- FedEx
- DHL
If you are not available to take delivery, the carrier will leave a card with instructions. Typically they will automatically attempt re-delivery the following working day unless you instruct them otherwise.
International customers
Orders sent by Royal Mail may require a signature depending on the destination country. Orders sent by DHL will require a signature on delivery. If you are not available to take delivery, they will leave a card with instructions. Typically they will automatically attempt re-delivery the following working day unless you instruct them otherwise.
